FPRG, Inc. was formed in 1988 to acquire real estate investment properties in strategic growth markets. Starting with our first investment property that year in San Antonio, we have anchored our assets in Texas, and gained a great reputation as a hands-on owner / manager of multifamily properties. Diversifying throughout the years, we have successfully purchased and operated a mini-storage, boat and RV storage, motels, RV parks, office space, and single family land development, all with the idea of creating a great product for our investors through knowledge, experience, hard work and capitalizing on unique opportunities.
Joshua D. Platnick | President
Josh has been with FPRG since 2003 and is responsible for the acquisition of new properties and assists in the planning and implementation of renovation programs. He focuses on all corporate financial decisions, expansion planning, asset selection and all aspects of investor relations. A firm believer that a hands-on management approach enhances a property's value for investors and residents alike, Josh takes an active role in lease analysis, property strategy, financial analysis and income return calculations of all properties considered for acquisition. In addition, he has led the technology overhaul company wide.
Josh has a BS from the University of Michigan and an MS from Colorado State University, as well as a real estate license from the state of New Jersey.
Albert B. Platnick | Principal
Albert (Alby) Platnick is a native of New Jersey, and has over 30 years of experience of owning, developing and operating a very successful multifamily, commercial and single family development.
Mr. Platnick graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. While Mr. Platnick was driven to further his education, he worked at various area hospitals as Director of Finance, along with attending Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, where he attained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
In 1988 Alby and his business partner formed Falkin Platnick Realty Group Inc, and had a vision to create a company based on honesty and integrity, hence, their 1st acquisition materialized in 1989. Since then, Mr. Platnick’s dedication and passion has played an active role to provide detail – oriented real-estate management services and long term financial initiatives which have been instrumental with the development and ownership of his portfolio which encompasses, stabilized assets, renovations and value – added assets.
In 2004 FPRG had an opportunity to procure a 50-acre site and developed this acreage into Braunig Lake 50 LP. The company portfolio included commercial office suites, a restaurant, Boat Storage, banquet hall and a 266 site RV Resort.
In 2006 Mr. Platnick continued his efforts for the company’s growth and added a 440 acre site in Floresville Texas, known as, Abrego Lake, a single family home development and then in 2009 Mr. Platnick added Eden Crossing, a 550 acre, single family home community located in Lavernia Texas.
Stuart R. Falkin | Principal
In addition to Principal of FPRG, Stuart Falkin is the President and shareholder of Falkin Financial Corp., a real estate and mortgage broker company licensed in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Falkin is also a real estate broker licensed in the States of Texas and Pennsylvania. Falkin Financial Corp. specializes in the financing of first and second mortgages as well as sales of multi-family residential and commercial properties. Mr. Falkin has had ownership interests in investment property acquisitions in which his role included devising the investment strategy and development plan to procure, source and structure mortgage placement, property management, building upgrades and renovations and condominium or co-op conversion.
Prior to the formation of FPRG, Mr. Falkin was Vice President of Raritan Valley Mortgage, Inc. East Brunswick, New Jersey. He supervised the origination and placement of $450,000,000 of FHLMC/FNMA multi-family mortgages and served as the broker for the purchase and sale of various commercial and residential multi-family properties. Mr. Falkin holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Rider University.
Michele Sierra | Corporate Director
Ms. Sierra has been in the field of property management for over 25 years. Ms. Sierra's experience has been devoted to leading a skilled team in order to develop and maximize the financial position of assets. Ms. Sierra maintains management oversight of profit-and -loss performances, renovation supervision, personnel relations, formulation and oversight of marketing strategies, along with the execution of multi-year business plans to maximize long term portfolio values for FPRG's National Operations.
Ms. Sierra also oversees Braunig Lake 50 LP, a mixed business park which included a 5,000 SF banquet hall, and a 266-space RV Resort. Ms. Sierra also has experience with managing and supervising the operations of an RV and Boat Storage and commercial office space that Braunig Lake 50 LP has owned. She reports directly to the investors and Chief Officers of FPRG.
Ms. Sierra holds several holds several designations, including but not limited to CAM, NALP and Real-estate License. Ms. Sierra served on the San Antonio Apartment Association Board and Chaired several committees.
